TH Silencer
Application:
Vent and blowdown of air, steam, or gas to atmosphere for:
- Safety Valves
- Process control valves.
- Turbine compressor and blower bypass valves.
- Boiler start-up purge systems.
- Switch valves.
Design:
Uses "Advanced Micro-Diffusion" to prevent noise rather than attenuate. This technology can be applied by imposing additional back-pressure or using existing line pressure. Compact size and weight help reduce support structure costs. Additional absorbtive sections can be added to achieve noise reduction up to 60 dB, depending on application.
