Burgess-Manning designs and manufactures intake and exhaust silencers, intake filters, and evaporative cooling systems for use on gas turbines.  Since each turbine installation is typically unique, Burgess Manning custom designs systems and sub-systems to meet specific project and/or environmental requirements.  Major components include single or multi-stage filters, demisters and evaporative coolers, intake air silencers, secondary air intake silencers, acoustical enclosures and modular exhaust silencers.  Customer applications have ranged from skid-mounted 2,000 HP turbine drivers to 85,000 kw generator systems.

Our intake and exhaust silencers may also be equipped with Burgess-Manning's patented "SSF Technology", which was developed specifically for Gas Turbine applications. "SSF Technology" effectively eliminates the packing fragmentation and evacuation that can occur due to the extreme temperatures and flows typical for this type of application.
