Burgess-Manning blower silencers are designed for atmospheric air intake and pressure discharge applications.  Developed to reduce the pulsations and noise associated with rotary lobe, screw and helical screw type blowers.  Through many years of field and lab experience, Burgess-Manning has developed reactive and reactive absorptive silencers specifically designed to reduce the shell radiated noise and the inlet and discharge pulse generated noise levels associated with these types of blower systems.  Special externally acoustically lagged units are available to meet the most stringent requirements. 
For centrifugal blowers, Burgess-Manning offers several types of absorptive silencers to recover the inlet and discharge high frequency noise associated with this type of blower.
Standard connection sizes range from 1" to 48". Sizes 12" and below are stocked in several models.
